About Paula Mewse
Paula joined BEC in early 2015 as a member of our in-house Facilities Team and was appointed Executive Assistant to our Chief Executive in August 2016. Paula is our people person and brings over 30 years experience working in human resources disciplines. Paula works closely with Michael and Gemma to understand future requirements and build capacity and capability in our team. Paula is a passionate advocate of our value led approach to recruiting and retaining our people and is a brilliant ambassador for our business. Paula actively supports initiatives in local schools that support young people in gaining employability skills and is no an incredibly proud nan.
Why BEC?
I am a people person as well as being the people person! For me, the sense of team at BEC is what makes our business really work – we’re more than colleagues – we support each other, lean on each other and can rely on each other. We spend a huge amount of time with our colleagues so creating an environment that is positive with meaningful connections is incredibly important to me personally and I believe is good for our business.
