Lillyhall site shortlisted to host Heathrow logistics hub
We were delighted to act as “site sponsor” for the former Alcan site at Lillyhall in the bid to make it one of four Healthrow logistics hubs.
It is one of 18 to make the shortlist out of 121 expressions of interest to host.
The bid was led by Sellafield Ltd with BEC as site sponsor and supported by Cumbria Local Enterprise Partnership, Allerdale and Copeland Borough Councils, Britain’s Energy Coast Business Cluster, Workington MP Sue Hayman and Copeland MP Trudy Harrison.
