About Elaine White
Elaine first joined BEC in 2016 as a member of our in-house Facilities Team before securing a role in our Finance team. Elaine is an AAT Qualified Bookkeeper and makes sure our suppliers are paid accurately and on-time and manages our credit-control arrangements. As a social impact business we actively look to work with and support local businesses where possible. Many of our suppliers are small and micro businesses. We are signed up to the Prompt Payment Code and as a responsible company take our obligations to our suppliers seriously. Elaine is key in ensuring we pay our suppliers on time and secure monies due promptly. Elaine is a passionate advocate of our business and our people and as our menopause champion and is actively raising awareness of prostate cancer across our properties.
Why BEC?
I enjoy working for BEC. They are a fair and flexible employer and support work life balance which allows individuals to grow and develop with them. I started working for BEC as a Facilities Services Officer and secured the opportunity to join the Finance team. BEC have supported me in my learning and development as I worked towards my AAT qualification and I now have a job that I enjoy immensely. I find my work meaningful and enjoy the challenges we face as part of a great team. When things get tough we have the support and knowledge around us to help us achieve what is required. My role is important in ensuring we have the financial resources available to invest in projects that make a difference in and for our local community.
