Revive Furniture Recycling is a community interest company based in West Cumbria, dedicated to reducing waste, supporting local people, and making good-quality furniture accessible to those who need it most.
We collect unwanted furniture that would otherwise go to landfill, carefully assess it, and where possible clean, repair, and restore items so they can be reused.
Through this process, we help households, reduce environmental impact, and create opportunities for volunteering, skills development, and community connection.
We collect donated furniture from homes, organisations, and businesses across the area. Items are cleaned, safety-checked, and restored where needed before being made available for reuse.
By extending the life of furniture, Revive helps divert bulky waste from landfill, conserving resources and reducing carbon impact.
As a CIC, everything we do is for community benefit – supporting people on low incomes, providing volunteering opportunities, and contributing to a more sustainable local economy.
Volunteers play a vital role in collections, refurbishing, warehousing, and logistics. Revive provides practical experience, confidence-building opportunities, and a supportive environment for people to learn new skills.

We DO accept tables and non‑upholstered furniture. Upholstered items can only be accepted with an intact fire safety label.
We DO NOT currently accept tv cabinets, items with glass and used mattresses.
Drop‑offs must be pre‑arranged. Collections may be available in Copeland on Tuesdays and Thursdays only for now. All items are subject to final inspection before taking/accepting. Photos of your items help us respond faster.
